This week I’m speaking with horror filmmaker Chris Maes about his new indie horror feature Air Shift. Air Shift is available to watch for free on Tubi and you should definitely check it out. It follows Lisa, an overnight radio DJ who learns her station is closing because the building sits on a hazardous radioactive waste dump. Her final broadcast devolves into chaos when she is held hostage by a serial killer and must simultaneously battle an outbreak of zombies created by the toxic waste. Chris told me why he loves horror and what scares him in horror movies today. Then he told me how he came up with the idea for Air Shift, how his cast came together, what he learned about zombies while filming, and so much more.
