This week’s guest is horror documentarian and journalist Nick Taylor and we’re talking about his documentary Rubberhead: The Life and Monsters of Steve Johnson. Rubberhead premiered a couple of days ago at Fantasia Fest and it’ll also be screening next month at FrightFest in the UK. Nick told me how he fell in love with horror, what he learned from being a journalist that translated well into making a documentary, and what the most surprising thing he learned about Steve Johnson was while filming. He also reveals how long it took to film Rubberhead, how he met Steve Johnson initially, and whether he prefers practical FX or CGI.
